We celebrate those who served AVA Medical, and in order to recognize their years of service, they are entitled to:
1 year: a certificate and Rs. 1,000.
5 years: a certificate, a congratulation letter, and 1 month’s salary.
10 years: a certificate, 1 month’s salary, and 1 night in a hotel on full board (valid for 2 people).
15 years: a certificate, 1 month’s salary, 2 air tickets (Mauritius-Rodrigues) and 3 nights in a hotel in Rodrigues + 3 additional special leaves for this trip.
20 years: a certificate, 2 months’ salary, 3 additional leaves, 2 nights’ stay in a luxurious hotel
25 years: a certificate, 2 months’ salary, 3 additional leaves, 2 nights’ accommodation on an all-inclusive package (including a massage for 2 persons), 3 additional leaves credited every year.
Time Management Training program is conducted to enhance productivity and efficiency. Led by Mr. Alain Humbert, (founder of ÉcloHésion and expert in benevolent management and mental programming for success) the training equipped employees with essential strategies to prioritize tasks, minimize distractions, and improve scheduling.
Participants also learned techniques for balancing workloads and leveraging tools for better time management. The positive feedback from employees highlights the program's impact, contributing to both individual growth and organizational success
In 2022 and 2024 AVA Medical had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Alain Humbert (founder of ÉcloHésion and expert in benevolent management and mental programming for success) for workshop on ‘Conduire un changement avec rigueur et humanité’ (Leading change with rigor and humanity').
During the 2 days’ workshop the participants have brainstormed & shared ideas/point of views, asked the right questions, developed both technical and human skills so as to devise the best strategy to make each project a success. And now that they are ready, we say 'Action'!
In 2022, MEXA (Mauritius Export Association) successfully launched the capacity-building project to support the growth of the medical devices sector. After two years of collaboration with medical device companies including AVA Medical, the University of Mascareignes, and the Human Resource Development Council, MEXA initiated phase 1 of the aforementioned project. It is worth noting that this joint project aimed to enhance the skills of 15 employees from medical device companies.
In continuation, phase II was launched in 2023 with Lean Six Sigma training facilitated by Franck Strub, a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt at General Electric Healthcare Europe. This collaboration led to a 10-month training program titled "Capacity Building to Support the Growth of the Medical Devices Sector Phase II - Applying Lean Six Sigma tools in various processes in this industry." 42 AVA Medical employees sector benefited from this training.
