About the Role :

The Senior Procurement Lead will play a key role in supporting the transformation of Natec Medical through the implementation of a CDMO strategy. The position leads all sourcing activities, supports R&D through the procurement of components and equipment for testing and production validation, manages supplier qualification and documentation within the eQMS, and leads the sourcing of new suppliers for existing components, including full change validation in collaboration with R&D and Quality. The role also oversees the sourcing of indirect goods and services (maintenance, HR, IT, and corporate services). It requires strong organizational skills, proactive follow-up on purchase orders, excellent cross-functional communication, and strict adherence to regulatory and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the primary procurement interface for R&D.
  • Lead strategic sourcing of components and materials for new product development projects.
  • Support the CDMO transformation strategy by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new suppliers.
  • Manage RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts.
  • Follow up on orders for testing, validation, and prototype production.
  • Ensure material availability aligns with development, validation, and launch timelines.
  • Actively manage supply risks impacting development milestones.
  • Lead suppliers change activities or new supplier validation for existing components in collaboration with R&D and Quality.
  • Ensure all technical, regulatory, and quality validation activities are completed prior to supplier change implementation.
  • Ensure all change documentation is approved and released per QMS requirements.
  • Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
  • Ensure supplier certifications, audits, quality agreements, and compliance documentation are current and controlled in the eQMS.
  • Support supplier audits, nonconformance management, and regulatory inspections.
  • Support all departments in the sourcing of services and products including maintenance, HR, IT, and general corporate services.
  • Serve as the procurement focal point across all departments for indirect spend.
  • Structure vendor selection, contracting, and spend control for indirect categories.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on all purchase orders.
  • Track delivery dates and ensure on-time delivery performance.
  • Proactively manage delays and implement supplier recovery plans.
  • Maintain transparent order status communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience in regulated industries (medical device, pharma, biotech preferred).
  • Proven experience managing supplier change programs with validation and regulatory impact.
  • Strong experience supporting New Product Development (NPD) and R&D procurement.
  • Experience managing both direct materials and indirect services procurement.
