About the Role

The HR Lead is responsible for driving the company’s human resources strategy and ensuring that all HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role oversees recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.

Acting as a strategic partner to management, the HR Lead ensures that HR policies and practices support business goals while fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture. The role also provides guidance to managers and employees, ensuring fairness, compliance, and continuous improvement across all HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment, selection, pre-boarding, and onboarding processes.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries using HR policies & procedures
  • Oversee expatriate management, including applications and renewals of occupational and residence permits.
  • Communicate HR, benefits, payroll objectives, policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Manage HRMS transactions throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, procedures, and technologies.
  • Assist with pension and medical insurance administration.
  • Verify payroll variables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payment.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and personal files.
  • Provide HR advice and guidance on compensation, benefits, and broader HR matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations; liaise with legal advisors when required to address employment law matters and mitigate organizational risks.

Qualifications & Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in payroll, with demonstrable analytical responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in payroll systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Excellent knowledge of labour laws, payroll compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
